Lick Mat
A little pumpkin puree or sardines (packed in spring water, from Trader Joe's or Costco) spread on this keeps her busy and calm.
One thing I learned the hard way: the lick mat will stick to your counter and go flying the second you try to move it. A silicone feeding mat underneath solves that.
