Homemade Hamburger Helper

Dice half a yellow onion, mince 2 large cloves of garlic. Sauté on medium for a few minutes. Add the ground beef and mince it up well. If there’s a lot of fat, drain it. Add tomato sauce(I used a small carton that was 17.64 oz) add roughly a tablespoon of garlic powder s we 1 tsp of onion powder. Simmer on low for about 15/20 minutes. Add cooked noodles to the sauce and mix well. That’s all!! So easy! You can add cheese if you want, but this was perfect without. Tip for cooking gluten-free noodles-always add more water because it can become very starchy. ENJOY👌🏽
